Event Description
Join us on Sunday, Feb 28th for the Lost Valley Frozen 5km Snowshoe race. This race utilizes a time-trial race format, where racers embark on the 5km course at ANY time between 10am and 11am. This will reduce clustering on the course.
The winding course, with moderate elevation gain (for Auburn standards…approx 150ft) will begin and end at the LV base lodge taking a counter clockwise loop around the property. Time keeping will begin when the racer leaves the lodge and stop when they return to the finish line. Winners will be awarded with a smattering of prizes from Baxter Brewing Co and Lost Valley. Stick around the outdoor firepit afterwards for awards and beers from Baxter and LV!
Current Covid-19 precautions will apply at this race including the wearing of a mask at all times when in the vicinity of others.
We thank our corporate sponsor for donating $1 for each mile covered in this race, to our featured beneficiary.
